Darran has a true passion for Africa and wild spaces; he has been a professional safari guide for over 25 years. During his varied career, he has  guided by vehicle, canoe, and horseback, as well as by foot. He has guided across Africa, from the Equatorial Rainforests of the DRC to the Savannah of East and Southern Africa.
He is the consummate host and storyteller, having written stories for publications worldwide as well as co-hosted and produced wildlife shows for the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet.
